Final Fantasy 4 Cheats and Cheat Codes

Item Duplication Trick
This trick works with both the Super Nintendo (Final Fantasy 2) and Playstation Versions. It also may seem a little time consuming, but it can pay off greatly in both Gil and EXP (Gil a whole lot more than EXP though). It is also particularly useful after you have gone through Baron and gotten Cid and all of that stuff.
-Anyway, after you have gotten the Enterprise, just land it near Baron, and make sure you have Cecil's Ancient Sword equipped. (This works with anyone's weapons and armor, but right now, the Ancient Sword will be the most profitable.)
-Then walk around until you enter a battle. Once in a battle, and when it is Cecil's turn, select the Item command.
-Go down to where there is a blank spot in the list, select that spot, and switch it with the sword. It is important to select the blank spot first, or the trick won't work.
-Finish the battle. Cecil will be weaker without the sword, but that is why you are near Baron.
-Once the battle is done, equip Cecil's sword again. If he has two, you have done this correctly. Anyway, unequip the sword, and then re-equip it. You will now have 2 Ancient Swords, one in your items, and one for you to do the trick all over again.
-If you do this trick a mere 99 more times, you can earn yourself the meager amount of 950,000 Gil.
